Puy Jaillant Family Farm Our Story

Puy Jaillant is a small, family-run lavender farm cultivated and maintained mainly by horsepower. In addition to lavender, we grow other medicinal plants, such as ginger, turmeric and coriander and transform them into beautiful and beneficial products which we sell at local markets and in our shop.

We also offer our unique space as a venue for bespoke and scheduled retreats.

We aim to manage the land in a natural and sustainable way, promote the working horse and offer a fun and light-hearted escape at our little farm. At the core of our philosophy is promoting mental and physical well-being through medicinal plants and through our connection with animals. Although traditionally lavender is the symbol of Provence, we wanted to work with medicinal plants and showcase their diverse uses. Lavender called to us due to its many uses and well-known healing properties. After several years of monitoring our test patch, developing a product, training the horses to work the land, finding and modifying horse-drawn machinery to prepare the land we are ready to open to the public.
